ils on 777 and a310

Hello, I'm not sure if this the correct place to write this, but I join a few minutes ago and I don't now so much about this place.

My problem and question is:

The project opensky boeing 777 and the thomas ruth airbus a310 doesn't have a course selector like the b737 or homas ruth a340 and a330, or other planes...

So, my question is how to make an Ils aprroach, I know everything, except to make an ILS aproach without a course selector, so any answer can helps me to resolve that problem .

Thanks to everybody answer this questions, you are great.

Thanks again

The course on these planes are set in the FMC, usually automatically when the ILS freq is activated, but can be overridden.

On The POSKY and Thomas Ruth planes which doesn't have a FMC, it will be with the FSX normal Radios. It shouldn't be necessary to set a separate course control, just follow the guides on the PFD.

Thanks

Here's a quick refresher on how to fly a highly-simplified ILS approach with a default(or default-esque) panel:

1) When you are 50-100 miles out from the aiport, ATC will give you the runway you will be landing on (XXX, you are XX miles out. Turn left/right heading XXX, expect vectors ILS...). Copy down the runway then go to the FSX map and click on the airport. Write down the ILS identification code, course, and frequency for the runway. Put the ILS frequency in the NAV1 radio, dial the course into the course window, and make sure that NAV/GPS is set to NAV. Continue to use heading/altitude hold for ATC vectors.

2) ATC will give you some turns to line up with the runway. When they give you the instruction that you are cleared for the ILS (You are XX miles east/west, turn left/right heading XXX, contact YYY tower on XXXX). At this point, turn to the heading they give you and continue to have HDG hold selected. Then, wait until you get within range until you can see the identification code for the ILS for your runway on the lower left of the MFD. At this point, press the NAV hold button, arming it. You should see both the HDG and the NAV still illuminated.

3) When the aircraft intercepts the ILS, the HDG hold will go off and only NAV will be selected. The aircraft will turn to the runway and then you can land.
