October 31, 201312 yr Hi All, I did a FSX reinstall and everything installed just fine except the CS 732. Going from free flight and choosing the 732, it shows up but the whole thing is dead. Switches don't move, gauges don't lite up, nothing. After doing all the things mentioned in CS forums, I submitted a ticket and got their usual personized customer service, referrring me to a knowlege base item that instructed me to repair either SP2 or Acceleration. Before the reinstall I had SP2. Had those issues mentioned. I did my FSX reinstall using Accereation and had the same problem. My question is, has anyone ever done a repair on acceleration and had adverse effects. I'd hate to mess up anything now that I've just finished reinstalling everything. Since I've had this problem with SP2 and a brand new copy of Acceleration I really wondering if this is the problem. Thanks for your help. BrianG Brian Green
October 31, 201312 yr If you don't know what the problem is, what are you going to fix by doing a repair? Repair of what? I don't have the product mentioned, but I would wager a guess that it makes entries into the DLL.XML file and that might be messed up. If so, a repair isn't going to fix anything. After installing the airplane and starting FSX did you get any prompts to run/approve modules or gauges for the plane?
October 31, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did get the run/approve modules when I tried running the plane for the first time. The acceleration repair thing was Captain Sim canned response. I'm hestitant to do that. Everything else is installing just fine. any suggestions on what I might try. CS customer support is useless. October 31, 201312 yr There is an unofficial forum here, further down the listing. Here's hoping it offers something better than the official response?
November 1, 201312 yr That symptom only happened to me once when I changed my hard drive to a bigger one using Acronis moving all data from one drive to the other and had to reinstall all my CS stuff. Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk Alexander Colka
