So there we have it, a new package called MS MS - Microsoft Migration Simulator :-)Thomas

I thought the movie he was referring to was the recent "Winged Migration", which was a documentary but supposedly a very beautiful film. Still haven't seen it myself.

I've seen most of "Winged Migration." Excellent photography, and just a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. As I recall, they did some of the air-to-air filming from ultralights.

Sounds great! I've been looking for something in between a helicopter and an STOL. Do they have a good VC? And does that long nose obscure the view on landing, or does it drop down like on the Concord. Any info greatly appreciated.David

Actually have you ever really watched a flock of geese? I mean really stood there and watched them? Yesterday I took the dog for a walk on the farm next to my house. I heard the familiar "jabber" of gesse and then watched as about a flock of about 25 or so came into view. It was cool watching them as they circled the farm decideding how they wanted to make the approach and where the ywanted to land. Then they started to lose altitude, made a couple of corrections, slowed and landed.I was in complete awe. This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I watched them before through the years but never really paid attention before. I do now.

Hello All,OK back to the original topic LOL....for us Ai dummy's....wlll someone make a flight plan for them. If you really want to be nice to the ole Major, try one by the lake at KMEI Meridian, MS. I always fly out of my home airport and it would be really cool to have the geese in and out of there. The lake is right by 01 runway. Hey, if you're gonna ask, might as well ask for what you really want. Thanks allclayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. Dopke (Clay)Major, USAF (retired)"Drac"

Yeah, they will ussually try to come in to the wind, like a plane would back in the old days they landed on fields.----------------------------------------------------------------John S. Well, they show up in the GA-Traffic program, and it makes flight plans for them, but I haven't seen any yet. Still experimenting.Edit:May be no good. With GA-Traffic I made the Usage "Taxi" and the Parking "Dock" but they still showed up in a regular parking spot. I guess that the suggestion to use AFCAD is the way to go.
