It's been a while since I actively participated in FS development (the VATSIM server back in 1997), but after 7 years, I'm finally back!I'd like to introduce my new FS addon: FSEconomy, the most expensive addon in the history of FlightSimming. The system is freeware and will remain freeware, but a lot of virtual money is involved.I've always found it strange that their are no real economical addons for Flightsim. The closest I've seen is FSMaintenance, but it was very single player oriented. I wanted a community of people that share planes! So once again I started to created something and I hope people will like it. I've made it this far and it's now officially in beta fase. So what is it?FSEconomy is an addon that adds money to the Flight Simulator world. You will be able to rent planes and buy them if you have the money. The fun part is that everything is stored in a database and other people can access your planes and fly them. You make money by flying assignments, bringing people from one place to the other. You'll have to pay landing fees and fuel, so you have to watch out where you go. Maintenance is part of the scope of this addon but not fully implemented yet.Currently it is very GA oriented. It supports small planes only. Addon planes are supported.I don't want to completely open it up to the public yet. What I'm looking for right now is a small group of beta testers that want to try it out. Many thing are still incomplete, but there is a basic manual and it seems to work OK. I'm still very honoured and this is the best thing that can happen to a developer!! It will be proudly displayed in my living room. Now let's see if I can get FSEconomy good enough for another award :-hah There's still a lot of work ahead!

Hope your decorations go with faux crystal!!! :) And, your mantle will have to be re-inforced. It's a heavy bugger. Don't forget to backlight it!

Howdy,it actually produces a very neat rainbow on our living room wall when the sun hits it (it's sitting on a window sill). It's one beautiful trophy for sure. As I kid I used to break binoculars open just to get the prisms out. Can't wait to see what this does when the light hits it.Thanks again!Marty
