November 2, 201312 yr Is it possible to change the "Coolie" hat button up/down sensing? I have it configured for 'Pan' but it actually works backwards: to pan up I have to push the 'hat' forward. To pan down I have to pull back on the 'hat'. This isn't the normal directional sensing. It should work the same was as electric trim: push forward for nose down and pull back for nose up. November 2, 201312 yr to pan up I have to push the 'hat' forward. To pan down I have to pull back on the 'hat'. Well this is the way all joysticks work. Most joysticks have the HAT switch mounted on an angle of about 45 degrees. At this angle you can think of it's motion as either forward/backward or up/down. Just imagine the HAT as being more vertical than horizontal. It is then quite logical. Push up to look up and down to look down. Perhaps the HAT on your joystick is mounted more horizontal than others? What one do you have? gb. YSSY.
