November 4, 201312 yr Hi I hope this is in the right place. I have Vox Atc X my dvd contains Vox ATC X. Vox ATC UK. Vox 16 Bit UK Voices and Vox16 Bit US Voices all legal This worked fine on my Win XP but now I have tried to run on Win 7 Home edition I get this warning Cannot Initialise voice recognition Ensure you have a US English compatible recogniser selected Can some one please help I can get the upgrade to V6 @ another £45.00 But I think I have already paid enough Cheers :(
November 4, 201312 yr Is your W7 the English edition or a localized one? For localizations pls. search for 'Vistalizator'. Their tool enables you to switch your W7, including speech recognition, to U.S. English. That's an requirement for VoxATC. What happened to AVSIM
November 4, 201312 yr In the Win 7 speech recognition control panel, make sure that US English is selected as the recognition engine and not another language, such as UK English. This worked for me. Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk
November 5, 201312 yr Author I thank you boys that did the trick For some unknown reason my sound engine had gone to UK English
