Maybe a good start would be to actually write down the problems you have.

I have several times tried support, no luck, so I try in here. I have finally installed this plane but when I start fsx and choose aircraft A380 program closes down why???i have just seen that i missions there is no problems, this is weird

From that thread, there is not enough information to determine what would be causing FSX to close (CTD) when you select the A380.

Have you looked at your logfile, to see which module is causing the crash?

PS......... just a little tip;  try using the word please when asking for help from people (you didn't use it once in that thread where Olli was working hard to try to help you).  Those helping you are not getting paid to do so by Wilco, so a little 'please' would go a long way, and probably get you more help............

please can you help me???where do I find this log file that you refer to??? my problem is that when I start fsx up, and will choose flight a380  I see picture in 3 seconds, after which fsx shuts down.I just bought this download from aerosoft. excuse me but I use Googel translation.

When you get the "Windows Error Message" (and Windows is about to close), click the button that says something like "more info", and it will give a drop down list of data and info, including the name of the module (usually a .dll file) that caused FSX to close.

The problem will be a conflict between something the Wilco A380 has installed (it is a very old add-on), and something existing on your system.   We just need to find out which module is at fault.

As a first step, I would uninstall the Wilco A80, and start FSX and make sure that all is ok.... select a different aircraft, and at least you will know 100% that the problem stems from the installation of the Wilco A380.

hi q_flyer, many thanks for your reply, it is not windows that shuts down the FSX and it says 3 x beep and then run fsx no more, I uninstalled a380 v2 and put it on again still same error. Fsx work fine without a380 v2. I can see that you can buy an update on wilco's website, do you think that this would solve my problem?? or do you think it is a waste of money?? I get no error messages on the screen.
sincerely,
Westlin

The update available transforms the FS9 version into the FSX version, so it's NOT needed, if you have the full FSX version already.

If you can't see the error before FSX closes there's still the Windows event viewer (see control panel - administrative tools). You may gather some information from there.

Hi olli4740,welcom back

can you elaborate on this??? I've been in control but I can not find the tool you are referring to ?? I went into the debug a380 v2 and ran it through so there came a picture of a380 v2 which said if I wanted to write to new, I pressed yes to this. (so I went first to the control panel and then to the review of the program A380 v2)

after it was completed, I started fsx back up but still close fsx down, but if I go into fsx missions, there is no problem and play will not shut down, this is a mystery to me.

I hope you understand my problem.

sincerely,
Westlin

Well, you can always 'Enable changes in selected mission' to get the A380 to the airport of your choice.

Were you able to locate the Event Viewer? In W7 you can find it here:

C:\Windows\system32

under the file name

eventvwr.exe

After starting it, use the 'find' function and search for 'FSX'. This should give you the latest events related to FSX.

Can you help me ????

I have no idea what's happening on your system, I'm afraid.

Meanwhile, Aerosoft is trying to get into contact with Wilco but I don't think it's an installer issue ...

I'm really sorry, mate.

Have you tried to start the A380 mission and change that mission situation to the flight you actually want to do? Could serve as a temporary work-around, maybe.
