November 9, 201312 yr Has anyone figured out how to get the CS-737 to fly a route created by the ISG FMS? I have been trying to get it to work but a lot of the instructions are confusing. I can get the FMS in the aircraft via pop up windows (which I am happy with; I'm not trying to get them integrated into the VC). I just don't know how to get it to fly the route. Mitchell Haughee
November 9, 201312 yr Commercial Member Which gauge set/style are you using? The Smith style FMS would be appropriate for that airplane which is what I would use were I still flying it. The ISG FMS works by taking control of the heading bug and steering the aircraft with it. In order to tell it to do that you need to switch to LNAV mode. One of your popups should be the MCU - Master Control Unit. To start LNAV mode click on the LNAV button and the FMS will take over the heading bug. Two things - you need to have a route in the FMC and to have completed the pre-flight. And, your aircraft must be one that actually follows the FSX heading bug. I believe I remember that the CS737 doesn't use the FSX bug but its own internal one. If so, you are out of luck with the ISG gauge set. I'm not completely sure about this, I just seem to remember that fact from months ago.
