December 11, 200421 yr Is there any way to check the ATIS for an airport via a website. Not the Metar, but ATIS.The actual ATIS recording converted to text, or even listening to it?Thanks!Barry
December 11, 200421 yr 1. Load a flight plan into your AS2004.52. Tune COM1 to 122.00.3. Listen to FlightWatch report your destination weather.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
December 11, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi,Yes AS2004.5 will give you a nice simulated voice ATIS or Flightwatch wx report. As far as REAL ATIS over the internet, I haven't seen that yet but hopefully one day soon...FWIW many airports offer AWOS or actual ATIS recordings via an automated telephone line. Can be found in official AFD publications or check http://www.fltplan.com/. Some airports that I know have this: KLAX, KAVX, KSNA... I'm sure there are many more!Hope that helps.. December 13, 200421 yr Author I have never seen online ATIS information published. However, The ATIS is essencially a combination of METAR and all pertainant local NOTAM data to that specific field combined. Going to the US [a href=http://www.aviationweather.gov/]Aviation Weather Center[/a], you can get METARs and NOTAMs.----------------------------------------------------------------John S.
