--> No 2-D panel for freeware Antonov AN-14? <--

Featured Replies

Simmer friends :)I just downloaded the excellent freeware AN-14 "Little Bee" (an-14_ussr_army.zip) http://www.fsplanet.com/images4/an14ussr2.jpgI have a question to ask of those of you on here who fly it:There is no 2-D panel present: is that correct? I have a feeling that this *is* normal because the VC is excellent - but I just want to make sure! Do you all have the VC only on your AN-14 too?Thanks :)

yes, no 2D panel here either, it seems to be becomming a bit of a fasion, i have 5 payware palnes without 2D cockpits also.

Yes - no 2D panel. This a/c is completely flyable from the VC. It is a great little piece of freeware and I am surprised that there has not been more reference to it in these forums. It is a fantastic STOL cargo or passenger a/c. I did have some small issues with it when I first started flying it which I subsequently fixed- and the only problem I have with it is that everything on the VC panel is written in Russian.If somebody was to convert it to an "english" version -- I would use it much more than I do.Barry

Bruce & Barry - Thanks :) Yes it is a blast to fly, Im having a jolly time tootling around Alaska & plonking it down...anywhere http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contri...y/corkysm20.gifAgree too that it should get more coverage & that an English trans. would be great! :)
