At the keyboard there are the minus and the plus keys for zoom in and out

at fsx during flight I fly with zoom 1.0

If I want to zoom in then it goes right away to 1.5

Is there a way to change the zoom to i.e 1.2?

where could I change that?

 

 

Hold the shift key as you zoom and it will zoom in (or out) at a much slower speed.

What works even better is to set your initial zoom at somewhere between 1.0 and 0.80 and not change it.  Just use the control key plus the +and - keys to keep your prospective the same as you "walk" closer or further from the aircraft.  This way there is no distortion on the aircraft or surroundings.  Otherwise just using the + or - keys makes things look like a fisheye or zoom lens prospective and things just look funny.  I use it all the time for screenshots so everything looks correct in the pictures. 

no that works not well for me.

the reason is I have 3 monitors for one picture 3x 27 inch

if I use 1.0 or 0.9 then in dx10 the scenery is not smooth.due to the big width size, it stretches to much

if I use 1.20 it is better and more comforteble to look at
