Fatal Error message occurred after plane crash on PMDG 737 NGX with 600/700 Expansion Pack

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone!

I want to let you know that I have played FSX with Acceleration pack plus the PMDG 737NGX plus the PMDG 737NGX 600/700 Expansion pack. I've crashed the Boeing 737-700WL while I'm playing but the error message box said Fatal Error occurred and then next error message box said Microsoft Flight Simulator is restarting and returns to the Microsoft Flight Simulator start up App.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thank you.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thank you.

That error can be caused by hundreds of things.

If you have Win7, click START > [type "view event logs"].

In that program, select Windows Logs > Application.

There should be a big red circle with an ! in it for whatever program crashed (FSX in your case).

Single click it to show the log at the bottom.  There will be a detail section down there.  Post the contents here (it will show the DLL or whatever else caused the crash).

The NGX (any of our aircraft really) are not meant to be crashed (physically) and then recovered from. It's too big a shock to the systems and all the different variables that are involved. I'd recommend just turning crash detection off.

Nothing in those event log shots have anything to do with the NGX.
