December 2, 201312 yr Andras, many thanks you for an amazing add-on to X-plane. Truscenery recommends removing their EFTP Mesh and replacing with the new Mesh which is the tile +060+020 which they have for download on their site. It is suggested to move the Demo area of X-Plane. KSEA Demo Terrain below the new mesh. This way any new x-plane upgrade will not reload these. How about KSEA demo area and Lowi demo area ?? Any others ?? Should the Madeira_3_tex of LMPA Scenery, stay above or go below the new mesh ?? RescueX_terrain is another I wonder should be below the new mesh ?? Just a few I wonder about. Trevor Golding
December 2, 201312 yr Hi Trevor, The decision of moving what where is entirely up to you (OK, this might not be what you wanted to hear ... but its really that way). YOU, decide which of the meshes you want to see in that given location. Because the one which is on top (in the region where you are flying) is that one which wins. Thus, the only rule you need to keep in mind is: there can ALWAYS only ONE mesh be active in one place (with "one place" the granularity in is alway a 1x1 degree area, which is usually covered by a mesh DSF). Andras PS: and outside of its coverage area, no scenery will affect others! So even if you have - for example - Madeira put over all others, it will not effect a HD Mesh Scenery v2 in the Alps etc. Andras Fabian / Alpilotx Visit www.alpilotx.net, a site about X-plane scenery You can see some landscape and other photographs from me here: http://www.flickr.co...s/weathermaker/
December 2, 201312 yr As a none user of XP, I am carefully watching the advancements with a keen eye. So excuse my ignorance, but is this a global mesh? December 2, 201312 yr Just a look at the download site will show in the coverage map, what it covers (and for that, it already needs over 55 Gbytes!): http://www.alpilotx.net/downloads/x-plane-10-hd-scenery-mesh-v2/#Download Andras Fabian / Alpilotx Visit www.alpilotx.net, a site about X-plane scenery You can see some landscape and other photographs from me here: http://www.flickr.co...s/weathermaker/
