December 11, 201312 yr I've had nothing but problems using Windows 8. I'm curious, is there anyone who has Windows 8 and if so, can you share your experiences ? I've had enough and will have my operating system changed over to Windows7. My computer is eleven months old , I have Windows 7 Home Premium on my shelf, but I can't remember if it was ever used . If it has been used on another computer in the past would I be able to use it on this computer ?

December 14, 201312 yr I have Windows 7 Home Premium on my shelf, but I can't remember if it was ever used . If it has been used on another computer in the past would I be able to use it on this computer ? If it's an OEM copy of the software, then no...it's serial number is tied to the machine it was first installed on. If it is a retail version of the software and it was installed on another PC more than 90 days ago, and isn't still in active use on the other machine, it should install OK. But if it's still in use on another machine, its connections to Windows Update are logged--and the registration servers would probably pick right up on the multiple install. December 14, 201312 yr Author My PC is just sensitive. One example, I had to get outside help to install FSInn and FSCopilot. That took a lot of man hours.
