Bluesphere question....

Featured Replies

Ok, I just downloaded all the sets and have them all installed (starting with Summer I do believe).I noticed there is a service pack available for the Bluesphere textures and I was wondering if I needed to install it? I noticed how it seems to replace the overcast, cumulus, and some of the tree textures I just installed so I am not sure if I need it or not or if the SP is another option for those who only want a few of the changes (a combination from the other packages)?I'm guessing I should install it because it is a SP but am not too sure. Thanks for the help!

The service pack provides the transparent cirrus layer, which helps fix that ground layer haze that likes to fill valleys.I selectively installed some of the service pack textures, like the trees and a couple of the clouds. You'll definitely want that cirrus texture to fix the ground haze issue.Bruce

Thx, Bruce!Any recommendations as too which SP additions I should make?Thx again.

Hello, I use Bluesphere but never for clouds, the cumulus clouds are exact same as default fs2004 with no definition and boring. For cloudssky I use fs sky world 2004 miles betters than anything, included the white or blueish haze to fix layer haze that likes to fill valleys.BestEric

Thanks! :-)It sounds like the Bluesphere textures are the best you can get.
