FSX Screen Distortion

Featured Replies

Hi,

Im having distortion issues as can be seen on the attached image. Ive tried the Wide Aspect View fix on the cfg file but doesn't help. Ive tried playing around with the screen resolution settings as well but cant get this fixed.

Im running FSX on my new laptop which is windows 8, 64 bit, 15.6" screen 16:9 aspect ratio. FSX runs fine on this but just can get the display to behave. This happens with all the aircraft but more noticeable on the A2A C172 menu screens as attached.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Ewan

You might have better luck getting a response over on the Windows 8 forum, Ewan. Not too many experts around yet, it seems.

All the best,

Looks like it might be a screen versus FSX resolution issue.  make sure they both match.
