Is it possible to remove the traffic from the FS2004 original carriers??? I just want the real airlines to show. Can anybody tell me how if it can be done?Thanks,

Just delete the traffic.bgl file from your Flight Simulator 9SceneryWorldscenery folder.Generating real world airline AI traffic can be quite an involved process so you'd be better off reading one of the several good tutorials available at somewhere like:Project AI http://www.projectai.com/or UranusJay's Homepageshttp://www.geocities.com/uranusjay/flightsim.htmlAlso do an AI traffic tutorial search within the file library here. You're bound to find something. All the above is freeware. The best payware AI is Ultimate Traffic.Unfortunately, it's a very time-consuming process some of which can only be saved if you go the payware path. The original fs9 default traffic file is traffic030528.bgl. traffic.bgl has probably been created by a traffic installer with your new stuff and used to be the default for FS2K2.

What Skorna failed to mention is that PAI also has a file that removes the default GA airraft.

HiWhen I did it I first tried to delete traffic030528.bgl from the SceneryWorldscenery folder. I'm not sure about this but I think it then recreated itself automatically on my system (maybe because I have a compact fs install??). Then instead I opened the file in ms wordpad, selected all and then deleted all and saved. This gave me an "empty" traffic030528.bgl which I think is what I have now going ok.Hope this helpsP
