December 28, 200421 yr Have a little problem with a 707 ad-on being recognized correctly by atc. Went from being refered to as Experimential to Boeing, but cannot get it to say "Boeing 707", just says "Boeing". Maybe this is a quirk of FS9. Have set up aircraft cfg. properly, atc calls me by the company I am flying, so no problem there. Any Ideas? This is my ID in the CFG. General section:General ATC_type=BoeingATC_model=B707Thanks,Joe Regards, Joe Esposito
December 28, 200421 yr ATC_model=B701 orATC_model=B703Don't really matter which on ATC will say 707 with either one.:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/i...s/sign_name.jpgThere is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown"My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
December 28, 200421 yr Hi Joe,Setting the ATC_model=B701 or =B703 will result in ATC saying "707". These names represent the 707-100 and 707-300 series. The following URL will get you to a site that lists the info for all airlines, types, models and airfields:http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/04fs/MP/ATC1.htmthen, click on "FS Data" for lists of the following for FS2002 and FS2004:- ATC Airlines- ATC Aircraft Type and Model- Airfield Codes by CountryIf this doesn't work, let me know and we'll try again.Regards,JerryH
