December 22, 201312 yr Hi all, after Prepar3D V2 installation I copied my folder Modules from FSX to the main folder of Prepar3D v2. When I started Prepar3D the Linda GUI did not start automatically as it did in FSX. To solve this I placed a file exe.xml in the folder C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 Now Linda Gui starts when Prepar3d is started. Do you know another solution? Regards Stefan contens of the file exe.xml ==> open editor copy the text below and save as exe.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?><SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>EXE.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Name>LINDA</Name> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\Modules\LINDA.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon></SimBase.Document> regards Stefan Liebe
December 22, 201312 yr It was FSUIPC which automatically started Linda in FSX not the exe.xml. See the FSUIPC manual for details. Cheers, Andy.
December 22, 201312 yr Author Thanks that was the solution. I changed the line in FSUIPC.ini pointing to linda.exe and now it works. regards Stefan Liebe
