Flight Videos -mpeg

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert FS flight videos to Mpeg somehow? I just made a really cool one, playing with 200kt winds is fun;) Thanks

Yes, you need a capture program, I use FRAPS, then you can record and save as MPEGDan.

grr that means dishing out 30, oh well thanks!

Or, if you have a TV-out on your video card, and a digital camcorder with firewire, and a firewire card on your pc, you can get very smooth and good results. When you have recorded what you want, you can edit the recordings with software on your PC. Not any frame rate hits either.Fraps may be good, but it eats fps, unless you have a testosterone machine, which I don't have:-)

You are correct there, FRAPS KILLS my machine which is not slow but hit record and watch a slide show..Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. Not on my system, FRAPS runs as fast as I do :)Of course the P4 3.8 and Radeon X800 Sure help.

Yeah, it works fine here too, get a slight drop in FPS, but nothing that causes a problem. There are a lot of options you can tweak in fraps to keep the FPS up.Dan.
