December 28, 201312 yr Are you referring to testing the voices by clicking on the voice selection in the voices page? Does it happen with all call signs? In the RC general options check your airline/manufacturer selection as that is used for testing. Is this a new installation of RC with RC supplied voices? Prerecorded chatter (which we do not recommend) uses different voice folders than AI chatter. Here is the way it works. Under your RCv4 or RCv4x folder there is a scripts folder. Under that there is a pilot scripts and a controller scripts folder. The title of each script file is what RC calls in its code. The contents of each script file is the name of the .wav file called in the specific voice folders under the Winwood folder (under your RCv4 folder) that you have selected with the voices page. For example Winwood folder 60 contains the .wav files for the pilot or co-pilot choice of Brett Delana. Winwood 10 has the voice of controller JC Howell. If you are having the problem clicking on each voice in the voices page, I suspect the Winwood subfolders might be corrupt (assuming you changed airlines for testing). It could also be a script folder/file problem. Now let us insure your shortcut to RCv4.exe is set up corectly. Right click on it and select properties. Ignore the run as admin in this first dialog. Click on Advanced. In this dialog click on Run as Admin here so there is a check mark ahead of it. Click OK. now that your back in the main properties dialog click Apply, then OK. I assume for you install that you right clicked on RCv4.exe and clicked on run as admin. If this does not solve your problem then an RC re-install might be in order. You can submit a log file as explained in the pinned topic to point to where the failure occurs. In MSSE you still with it off may need to declare RCv4.exe as safe. Not using it I do not have any idea how to accomplish that.
