After check the dx10 , the night lights in frx global becomes brightless and it appears in black squares, I have dx10 shader 3.2.2 installed & dx10 steveFIXER also

Any help

Good Morning Zoho. We have some work to do! The first thing is to clean up your ShadersHLSL folder, as it is now probably corrupt because of the patch installation and the retail Fixer installation being used together. We do not want to take a chance on it because it will create more work, so we will get rid of the Shaders patches and the ShadersHLSL folder altogether, and put in a new one.

At the same time we will remove and reinstall the retail DX10 Fixer which you purchased from the FlightSimStore. After that we will fix the FTX Global lights.   :good:

OK:-

Shaders:-

1). Remove the patch 3.2.2 and delete it completely Do not use this with the retail Fixer.

2). Download this file (Stock_ShadersHLSL.zip) and place it in the root folder of FSX (where fsx.exe lives).

3). Launch the DX10 Controller and then click on the "Uninstall" button.

4). Open your Windows Control Panel, and uninstall the DX10 Fixer completely.

5). Go to your Flight Simulator folder, browse down to find the ShadersHLSL folder.

6). Delete the ShadersHLSL folder completely.

7). Browse to the downloaded Stock_ShadersHLSL.zip file and un-zip it. This zip file MUST be in the root folder of FSX when you unzip it. It will give you a new, stock ShadersHLSL folder.

8). Re-install your retail "SteveFX DX10 Scenery Fixer".

9). Start the DX10 Fixer and put a check mark in all three boxes when they appear after the installation.

10). Select "8x CSAA" from the DX10 AntiAliasing drop-down box.

11). Complete the rest of the settings as you wish.

Black Squares:-

12). Go to this website and download FTXGlobal v1.1. Place it in a folder of your choice (not inside FSX), and then unpack it, and then run the installer. This will fix your FTX Global lights.

13). Open your Nvidia Inspector, and set it as per this setup.

14). Open your fsx.cfg and ensure these two lines are here, under the Graphics heading:-

[GRAPHICS]

MultiSamplesPerPixel=4

MultiSampleQuality=8

You should now have a rebuilt DX10 installation, with a high degree of AA, and no black squares.

If I've missed anything - perhaps someone reading this might jump in with a comment?

Also - please read the DX10 "How-To" guide pinned at the top of this forum, and then read the DX10 Fixer manual. It seems apparent that English is not your native tongue, so ask again here if you don't understand what these docs are attempting to convey - ok!

All the Best,

pj

Ooooooops, when I try to open the panels and drag them to the other screen . Fsx crash to desktop.

Is the is meaning I cannot use dx10 in my cockpit which need to undock and drag the panels ?

Not necessarily, Zoho, but I think you may have to run FSX in a borderless windowed mode, rather than fullscreen mode.

Here's an application and a readme which will help you get this going. I have to tell you, though, Zoho -  there are many people here who have been attempting to do this over the past few months, and I'm not sure whether anyone has been successful.

Try this little application: it may well work, as it does work with other games. Let us know if you're successful - ok!

Always I run FSX in windowed mode not fullscreen mode.

This was from the first time when I decide to build my own cockpit

I dont think the tool u listed will much help.

Now I am on format the pc, get fresh windows, fresh fsx, fresh drivers then I will try all the things in DX10 preview u give. If the lastproblem still that mean I need to choose my between my cockpit or DX10 (SURE MY COCKPIT). I'll post what happen with me.

Be in contact doctor, and thank u so much.

Its a long night, and the final result is unfortunately : it seems impossible to run fsx in dx10 on multiscreen setup in fullscreen or even windowed screen (like mine). At least in my case.

Wait me dx9......I am coming back..

Thanks for ur previous responses paul, really ur a very good man.

Thank u again doctor.

Paul is indeed a great fella
