I bought Activesky Next, and when I started FSX I got an error that ASN cannot gather weather parameters. It suggested giving administrator control to the HIFI Program 86 files, the ASN Srv files and its sub dll's, and exclude it from my antivirus software.

 

Having done these tasks, it still does not work.  Any ideas?

Only thing I can suggest is  to uninstall it  and  don't install it in the default location by the sound of it you have. Install it outside the default location with admin rights  and uac off and avg off see how you go than
