UK2000 Gatwick Scenery Free

Featured Replies

Hello,

I downloaded the UK2000 Gatwick Scenery Free Version and installed it but when I launch FSX Gatwick Airport's scenery is the default one. I have downloaded many other UK2000 sceneries and they all work but why isnt this working. I downloaded it the same way I downloaded the others.

Did you tick it in the Scenery Library?

No. How do I do that?

Settings - Scenery Library - UK2000 Gatwick, check if there is a tick in the box on the right hand side if not, check it.

There should be two folders, assuming the free comes with UK2000 common lib, if not there will be one, just UK2000 \Gatwick.

If there is no entry, you will have to add it, like thus:

In the Scenery lib, on the right, click add, browse to your fsx\UK2000 dir and double click, double click again the Gatwick foder  (do not double click the scenery folder) press the "OK" button, then in the huge white box right click ( you have to do this if using Win 7) and then Gatwick should show up in the list, press ok to let fsx rebuild the lib index.

Note: If there is a UK2000\Common Lib, you will have to add that too. It must sit below the airport entry
