January 10, 201412 yr Hi everyone, I´ve posted a first impression on this issue for the first time in the FS9 forum, but as it evolved I decided to ask here as well, cause it also relates to FSX. I was running FS9 for years with no issues whatsoever, in an i7 2.67Ghz with 8GB and a GTS250. Changed the GTS250 for a GTX760 about a month ago and it kept running fine. Then I had a conflict with an add-on and FSUIPC that ruined my fps and had to reinstall FS9. After reinstalling, I started to have lots of problems on 2D panels, especially when changing views, opening/closing sub-panels or clicking on the panel itself: noticeable hangs, flickering, tearing, blurriness (when using Inspector´s FXAA) and quite strong flashes (when using ENB or SweetFX). It all happens in a fraction of a second and always when changing views or opening panels, but it happens everytime and became quite annoying. Then, I decided to install FSX to see what happens and, indeed, I got the same results as in FS9. Installed other drivers and got the same results. Reinstalled Windows 7 64, together with DirectX 9 and 11 latest versions, and the same thing. Installed my old GTS250 in place of the GTX760 together with older drivers, and still the same thing. After lots of testing, my last effort was to install FSX on another computer, a brand new i7 3770K, using the same GTX760, and, to my surprise, all the flashing and flickering stuff was still there. I really don´t know what to do anymore after having the same issue on two almost completely different systems, especially considering that the simulators ran so well for so many years, and I ran out of ideas for the cause, so I come here to ask for a possible solution or something that I´m missing. Best regards, Marcelo
January 10, 201412 yr Remove ENBSeries and/or SweetFX modules from the main FSX folder. The following ENBSeries files are installed in the main FSX directory and should be moved to a temporary directory if you are seeing crashes or graphics anomalies: D3d9.dll, D3dx9_40.dll, D3dx9_26.dll, and ENBSeries.ini. SweetFX installs the following files that should be moved to a temporary directory if problems occur: D3d9.dll, D3d9.fx, Dxgi.dll, Shader.fx, and the injector.ini. There have been several members who have been very successful in getting these modules to work properly but mostly there are problems.
