Crash when change EFIS to PLN during flight

Featured Replies

During flight switch EFIS to PLN mode, crashes every time. Beyond this issue the T7 works great.

Saw some talk on this but is this supposed to be fixed or not? Operation center says I have version 1.00.5376 of the T7 in use.

Which version of UIAutomationCore do you have?

The default that comes with Windows 8 I suppose. I've tried using couple of different versions (6.0.6001.18000 at least) but they had same issue. And I read somewhere that in windows 8 you probably should not use separate uiautomationcore.dll.

Firstly, this issue is in the issue tracking thread and is being fixed for SP1.

Secondly, use the PMDG provided UIAutomationcore.dll as set out in there user guide \ introduction.

Okay so it'll be fixed on the coming SP1, great. And I've tried the DLL version provided by PMDG through the introduction but that made the sim more unstable in my opinion. Running without any custom uiautomationcore.dll in windows 8.1 seems to be best.
