January 10, 201412 yr Which version of UIAutomationCore do you have? Robert Graham Howe Aviation is proof that, given the will, we have the capacity to achieve the impossible. -Eddie Rickenbacker
January 10, 201412 yr Author Which version of UIAutomationCore do you have? The default that comes with Windows 8 I suppose. I've tried using couple of different versions (6.0.6001.18000 at least) but they had same issue. And I read somewhere that in windows 8 you probably should not use separate uiautomationcore.dll.
January 10, 201412 yr Firstly, this issue is in the issue tracking thread and is being fixed for SP1. Secondly, use the PMDG provided UIAutomationcore.dll as set out in there user guide \ introduction. Wes Meyer
January 11, 201412 yr Author Firstly, this issue is in the issue tracking thread and is being fixed for SP1. Secondly, use the PMDG provided UIAutomationcore.dll as set out in there user guide \ introduction. Okay so it'll be fixed on the coming SP1, great. And I've tried the DLL version provided by PMDG through the introduction but that made the sim more unstable in my opinion. Running without any custom uiautomationcore.dll in windows 8.1 seems to be best.
