BSOD AND OOMS

Featured Replies

HI Guys,

I am having an issue with the pmdg 777 and cyul whilst at the gate preparing aircraft shortly after I get ooms and then a BSOD,

error STOP 0x0000024

the funny thing is it only happens at fly tampa cyul I have tested with other airports for example did u long haul flight from CYVR to YBBN not an error or bsod.

should I reinstall cyul?

Please help Thankyou.

Most likely you have a bad overclock.  I have never heard of a piece of software causing a BSOD.  The 0024 stop code is related to hardware.  Reset your BIOS to Normal or Optimized Defaults.  Check the memory frequency, timings, and voltages for your installed memory too as this will cause this BSOD 100% of the time if a timing or voltage setting is off.  Under the Tools tab in the BIOS is a list of all the rated memory settings (Under SPD).  But I think returning your overclock to optimized defaults will fix this problem.  You have a system similar to mine.  Did you use NickN's Haswell Guide to set your overclock?  I did and I started getting CTD's (not BSOD's).

EDIT:  Forgot to add that my BSOD code book states for an 0024 -

0x124

Increase or decrease QPI/VTT first, if not increase or decrease vcore. Test to see which one it is. On i7 45nm, usually means too little VVT/QPI for the speed of Uncore [sic] (not sure if this is a misspelling or what). On i7 32nm SB, usually means too little vCore.
