January 14, 201412 yr There has been an update for the A2A C172, Core 1.6 (which also is an update for a few other A2A planes). I have a button on my joystick to toggle the C172's flood light. For this I used the default FSX Cabin lights option (using LINDA's interface obviously), although there also is a A2A C172 specific Flood light option which does the same. However, since that Core 1.6 update the toggle always turns off ALL other lights too! The toggle itself does work, the flood light goes on and off, but whenever another light switch is one, the first press of the toggle button turns of that light. It doesn't turn them on, only off. I tried to assign the A2A C172 specific option to the button but it has the same result. Does this maybe mean the cfg (or whatever) of the A2A C172 needs updating…? Or is there another way I can fix this?
January 14, 201412 yr I've used the flood lights toggle since I updated to 1.6, it came out the day after I bought the A2A Cessna ironically and it still works OK for me. The only difference is my button in on the VRinsight MCP2 user configurable button section rather than on a joystick. I'll try and see if it works with a joy button later, I'm in the middle of a 76Gb download of MegaScenery California at the moment and don't want to risk a crash in the middle of downloading. Cheers, Andy.
January 16, 201412 yr I just tried LINDA (actually just got it). All toggle-functions (Landing, Taxi, Nav, Strobe) toggle how they are supposed to work, but also switch off (not toggle) the flood light. Christian Wendt
January 16, 201412 yr Sorry I forgot about this, I've just checked and its still working ok for me but as I mentioned before I am using the MCP2 panel to action the command for the flood light toggle function and joystick buttons for all the other lights. I even tested the flood toggle function on a joy button and it still worked. Cheers, Andy.
