Hi Folks,

 

I'm using the FS9 version of the Caravan and the FDE is awful... Are Bernt's FDE's available somewhere - I've searched but I can't find them... I'd like to attempt to port it to FS9... I'll gladly as Bernt but I think he dropped off from here - right ?

Yeah - he made it for the FSX guys - Carenado didn't make it available to the FS9 purchasers - at least that I could find...

Fortunately - I found the one Bernt uploaded to FlightSim for the default FSX Caravan - I started porting it to FS9 last night... Hah - in one night I think I've got a better FDE than initially shipped with the bird - thanks Bernt... The port isn't seamless though and I have many details to work out - probably some weeks worth of work... In FS9 - if you dropped below 100 knots or so on final the plane dropped like a rock - when the published approach speed is between 75 and 80 knots... It seems to be handling better now... I'm very new at this but learning fast...

Do you still have this FDE?  I'm still in the old school with FS9 and would like to make use of this, but I don't have the programming knowledge to make the neccisary tweaks.
