I love airports!

Featured Replies

I just love everything about the big ones. There is so much activity on so many levels, but I haven't seen an airport add-on that even comes close to the energy of a semi-busy airport. Are there any plans for something that has the following:

Real people boarding planes, or waiting outside to board one.

Lots of trucks, and machines doing real things (not randomly moving from left to right). For example, food trucks going to planes that are about to move in an hour or so.

Just curious if there has been really any attempt to model the traffic and energy of a real airport, or if this is beyond our ability right now.

For the service vehicles do some research into AES, GSX, AESlite and ORBX PeopleFlow2.

MegaAirport EGNM comes with animated passengers boarding your plane but those animations are made from a single person, repeatedly walking the same way down the jetway (with intervals ...). You can check out their promotional video; I have high praise for ENGM, but for different reasons/features.

I must disagree. You are clearly the real deal, and thanks again for taking time from the cockpit to answer newbie question.
