January 19, 201412 yr Hi All Returning to Flight sims after quite a while I got hold of Prepar3D Academic and installed to seperate hdd. I then installed FSUIPC, ran Prepar3D, but where in FSX you would get the pop-up asking to accept a DLL file, in Prepar3D the pop-up does not appear. I am using windows 8.1 Is this usual ? Also not able to get RAAS working either, but thats a whole different kettle of fish Many thanks Whitetimer
January 19, 201412 yr Commercial Member I haven't noticed where P3D2 pops those dialogs up like FSX did and there's apparently no [Trusted] section in the Prepar3D.CFG. I think LM eliminated that anal retentiveness. Easiest way to tell if it "took" or not is to check in the sim and see if you have an Add-ons > FSUIPC menu item now. If you do you're good to go. Jim
