Understanding the "Boeing FBW" C* U Law...

Featured Replies

Well, guys, while you wait for the upcoming PMDG 777 patch, and I wait for PMDG at X-Plane 10 hangar, I've been successfuly using the best FBW implementations of any simulator ( other than the CAE at Air Portugal training center at LPPT ) I was ever able to use, namely those of two excellent addons for X-Plane 10... (both Airbuses) and trying to modify the FD of a well known X-Plane 10 777 addon to come closer to the behaviour of the real thing.... With my long experience in the type  you can imagine the success I have reached so far .....

In the process of getting more familiar with FBW flight laws, I came accross many interesting reading sources in the net, but the following three links, posted by a forum member at x-plane.org, are very good and provide great insight into what the "Boeing FBW" implementation, used in the 777, is!

Here it goes - food for your thoughts while you wait for the patch:

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Ah thanks for this! Bookmarked it.  :Big Grin:
