I remember back when a brief description of a topics content would popup when you moused over a topics title, now the same title pops up instead of any clue to the content.

 

Isn't this a bit redundent and could it possibly be contributing to the slowdown of the pages loading?

That feature has been removed for some time.

I know the 'content' popup was removed, but maybe I  wasn't clear about my question.....

 

When I mouse over a post title now, I get a popup that simply duplicates the title. Since it is just repeating what I already see, I'm not sure what purpose it serves, and was thinking that maybe it was adding extra load to the servers.

 

BTW, I didnt even know this post went up, as I got a 'service unavailable' when I tried to post it, then took me 10 minutes to get back in for the same reason.
