January 20, 201412 yr When setting up the T7 at a gate I'm getting several issues.. First I'm getting the HYD PRESS DEM C1 & 2 messages that I'm unable to resolve. Second when starting the GSX push back I remove the wheel chocks which disconnects ground power and everything goes haywire with alarms and messages and everything shutting off. I have the APU switched on at least 10 mins before disconnecting ground power. Third I'm unable to start the engines on push back or any time thereafter. Probably related to my two previous issues. I can program my imported FP via PFPX and have no issues at all with the FMC setup and have been using this YouTube video as a guide: I haven't had much luck resolving my issues with the manuals and desperately need a ramp start guide from a gate. I'm also not entirely sure if I'm having issues with either my system or the T7 install so this is only adding to my confusion. Finally are the checklists necessary for a proper start and config as for troubleshooting I've been skipping them to test my gate startup. Thanks! Chris Camp
January 20, 201412 yr Commercial Member I'm also not entirely sure if I'm having issues with either my system or the T7 install so this is only adding to my confusion. My first guess is always user error, so that's what I'm going to stick with. There are known bugs with the cold and dark panel state, so if you're using that, your issues could be attributed to that, though. Have you tried it with other panel states? Are you using your own panel state? What, exactly, are your steps in getting the aircraft to the point where you're having issues. Kyle Rodgers
January 20, 201412 yr Author O.K. Thanks for the quick reply... I'm loading the LONG HAUL panel state prior to setting up my flight as I am already aware of the CD bug. Right up until it seems I'm having issues I saved the flight via FSX main menu which automatically saves my current setup/panel state. I would SAVE my current flight panel state prior to saving my flight but I noticed that the PMDG autosaves panel states when saving a flight through FSX. I tried reloading my saved flight/panel state after completely exiting FSX and have the exact same issues.... Could there be an issue with my saved panel state? Chris Camp
January 20, 201412 yr Author Ops... Forum server issues caused a double post... Link to tutorial YouYube video I'm using as a guide is in my other duplicate post... Chris Camp
January 21, 201412 yr Author Well, it seems like I was able to solve this issue. I had to completely shut of the APU from its Auto/On default panel state and then wait a minute or two and start it again and everything is fine now. Chris Camp
January 22, 201412 yr Sounds like a "saved flight" problem to me. I recently had CTDs over ManhattanX with the PMDG777. Only happened from a saved flight! Saved flights can be handy, but they are risky as well. Rob Robson
