Cannot get Squawkbox to install

Can anyone help me out? I've searched the bajeesus out of this topic but I have yet to have any success. I have Prepar3d v2.0 with Win 7, i7, GTX770, 8GB RAM and a copy of FSX Gold all on a SSD. I've edited the xml file as needed, installed FSUIPC but I still do not have it showing up in the taskbar. If I run it outside of the game, it encounters a problem and crashes. Does anyone have a specific step-by-step?

Was there a step to rename the prepa3d exe to fsx?

Anyhow, best bet is to use FSINN instead as SB has a known bug that you constantly get a popup window and essentially everything stops working until you click ok or whatever button appears.  There was a thread here recently about how to get FSINN running.  And of course there's the great FSINN support at  forums.vatsim.net

It's working for me after installing with the latest version of the Estonia migrator tool. Had a problem until I set both P3DV2 and Squawkbox4 to always "RunAs Administrator in their respective Properties menus. Just finished 3 succesful Vatsim flights. Hopefully this will work for you.

That's done it, I'm able to run it outside of the sim now, thanks.
