Can't rename FS2004 folder

Featured Replies

For some strange reason, I can not rename my FS2004 folder if I want to create a dummy to first check out an installation. I can clear the memory with some tweak program - or do any other silly trick, it refuses!Any reason why ...?RegardsT

Thats because some a[[ is still pointing to that named folder. If the folder is even open, Explorer is using it so you cannot rename it.Just make sure from a clean opening of explorer you single out the file without clicking it open and it can be renamed.allen

Make sure you don't have any programs running that are in your FS folder. For example, ActiveSky or any image tool. You may also need to restart and do it from safe mode if you still have problems.
