Hi guys

I don't know if the 777 does this or not or if its me,as I've not read all the manuals yet.

Currently I use a set of Saitek throttles to control my engines,but when I select rev thrust all works fine,but my spoilers also deploy weather I have them armed or not

Is this normal or have I got a duplicate button command

Funny because I experienced exactly the same today when I accidently engaged thrust reversal while taxiing. From my point of view, it seems to be normal as I use "F2" to engage thrust reversers.

The Arm function is there so the spoilers extend immediately after touchdown (main landing gear not tilted).

 

If you dont arm them, they extend automatically upon selecting reverse thrust.

This is for a rejected take off, but works after landing as well.
