January 25, 201412 yr I have MSE2 Hawaii, and already own Megascenery Southern California (on DVD media). Both have installers. I also own the Sim-Savvy scenery, which I believe requires manual installation (adding to the Scenery Library in FSX). I have only used these products in FSX. I have just purchased and installed P3DV2, and so far have not installed any add-ons to it (looking through the forums to see what is compatible and how to install it). I still need to download and install the Migration Tool (which fools the system into thinking that P3DV2 is FSX). If I run the Migration Tool, can I simply run the installers for the MSE/MSE2 products? Is there anything different about installing manual scenery in P3DV2 (such as Sim-Savvy) to FSX? I still have FSX installed. Thanks, and apologies if I haven't yet found a post here that already answers these questions. Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
January 25, 201412 yr Hi Bruce IF you have already installed megascenery in FSX, simply add that same location to the scenery in P3D v2. You don't have to reinstall. But if you don't have megascenery added for FSX at all, then I am not so sure. But I would think, install it for FSX and then add those scenery entries in your P3Dscenery.cfg as well. Megascenery is a doll to work with..its one of those low maintenance headache free scenery addons. Unlike some that are pain in the butt but the vendor simply refused to ack that their addons are are a real pain. LOL Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
