NVidia 332.21 + GTX580 + FSX = Bad combo

Featured Replies

After updating to new NVidia drivers (v 332.21) I experienced some trouble with texture loading in FSX. After flying for 30-60 minutes some of my cockpit textures wouldn't load when changing views. Then a couple of days ago I reverted back to the previous driver version and the problem is now gone. Just a head's up if anyone are having similar problems.

That's peculiar because I have a GTX580 also and have had absolutely no problems with 332.21. I've made multiple flights, including 11 hrs in the PMDG 777, and have experienced no glitches whatsoever. Perhaps you should look at the usual suspects: clean install; fsx.cfg; Nvidia inspector settings; any new add-ons, etc.

As I said, everything OK when going back to previous driver version. Don't use NI. But thanks anyway!

You should have tried to rebuild your fsx cfg file and NI is a must have to configure everything properly. Not following basic setup instructions is not the fault of the Nvidia driver. This driver is much better for all the 7 series cards.
