All Scenery has disappeared

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever had this happen? Overnight I have no scenery. None, default or add on.  I have deleted the fsx.cfg file, I have done a system restore. Nothing helps. I also have no outside views of an aircraft. All I can get is a 2-d cockpit. I'm running Windows 7.

Make sure the parameter for the graphics fix is employed in your Graphics section of the Fsx.cfg - highmemfix=1.  Delete/Rebuild your Facilities/Scenery Indexes and Shader Folders – Delete your Facilities/Scenery Indexes located in Program Data/Microsoft/FSX.  Delete the Facilities and Scenery folders.  Delete the Shader folders located in AppData/ (your user name)/Local/Microsoft/FSX/Shader10 and Shader folders. When you restart FSX, these folders will be rebuilt.

When you get to the startup screen, click on Settings and then look in your Scenery Library and make sure all scenery is enabled.

Go Fly.
