Saving flights

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've set up a flight with the aircraft on stand and other settings  in place for example I start at gate 109 EGKK engines shut down, name and save the flight and select it as default flight. However

next time I start this flight the engines are running and the aircraft is moving forward.

I've just migrated from FS9 so it's taking a bit of getting used to so any suggestions welcome.

Thank you.

Regards.

It will depend on the exact aircraft you're using:

Your test should have worked with a default aircraft as well as with a PMDG plane, for example.

But there are other developers who configure their planes to load with a pre-defined panel state, no matter whether you saved a flight with a different aircraft state. (iFly 737NG, Aerosoft Airbus Extended for example)

Most of the time there are procedures available, which allow you to load a different panel state after you have loaded the flight. The addon aircraft manuals should help with this.

What aircraft were you using?
