Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Is that 3.0 RC1 ?

Guess it is, yes, given the dates of the videos...

Yesterday I played with the new 777 and really enjoyed it!  The FMC is now rather complete too, for a freeware... AP and AT models are also very plausible!

Finally downloaded it from another connection at work, going to install it and try it.

Make sure you try the advanced weather options!

Also, please don't forget that not being commercial, we can't really expect it to be ironed as all payware simulators should... But it's still a great platform, with lot's of potential!

Jcomm, have you tried ALS in the new version ? If you did , does the sim work ? as mine is crashing. One thing I have noticed is the load time is much faster than 2.12. Re-installing it again , hope it works. They were supposed give the Osg for photoscenery , 2.12 has that plugin and so does the 3.0 but does not seem to work, let me check again.

ALS? Do you mean Autoland? If that's it, nope, didn't try it, and I will now wait for the final release - it shouldn't take too long now :-)

The clouds look brilliant. The control surfaces feel better. Terrain is same as the 2.12 or maybe because I copied the older terrain files. I will check Schiphol area or seattle area with new terrasync download.
