February 2, 201412 yr Commercial Member Just for those who do not frequent any other forums - there is currently a bit of work going on with replacement(s) to the FSX:A legacy Hornet. First of all, there has just been released a beta version of the new FSXBA F/A-18C here: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=glp76ktn05i7r1hu5mii8c4ov0&topic=6944.135 . I've linked to page 10 - part ways down the page is the post where updates will be posted. It just got updated today to version 2. I've spent the good portion of the last two hours flying around in it; it's pretty special. The model itself is much improved from the FSX:A version, and the flight model is quite superb. There's still a few bugs, but they're pretty minor. Secondly, the original creator of the model included in that package is hard at work creating a new version, one that he intends to develop to the level of the VRS bird, and complete with all of the numerous F/A-18 variants. I wish him luck! Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
