After the dust settled and I performsys recovery, I found this when I tried to boot up FS9The file DEM 4Km is corrupt or damaged.please re install FS9 to repair GULP..will I lose all my files I.e. a/c scenery etc if I Reinstall fs 9 over the existing..Any suggestions?ThanksMike

try renaming your existing fs9 folder to fs90ld or similar, then install a fresh copy of fs9 next to it.i do this when i've formatted c:/ and lost all registry addotions for fs9.aftyer installing the new fs9 i then either port over all mt texture and scenery folders as well as scenery.cfg or i just delete the new installation folder, then rename the old one fs9 again.you could probably add the corrupted module/file or whatever it is back again though.tataJP.

If it's just one or a couple of files you could try to simply extract those from the .cab files on the FS9 cds using Winzip.
