According to Federal Aviation Regulations Part 1.1,Flight time means: Pilot time that commmences when an aircraft moves under it's own power for the purpose of flight and ends when the aircraft comes to rest after landing. Some airlines start the pilot's flight pay when the main cabin door is closed and end it when the door is opened.Regards,Ed Weber

I think FS9 measures from start of the sim in the cockpit to exit of the flight. Meaning you can sit there on the stand and build flight time. Not realistic but an approximation assuming you dont just sit there.Eric

Today on many airlines the flight crew's pay starts at brakes release and end when the brakes are set at the destination gate. In the MSFS world it starts from the time the sim is loaded and functional to FS exit.Bob
