February 25, 201412 yr Simply put......my autogen load times at startup for ANY airports in Scotland have slowed to a crawl. I have just tried Scotflight's EGPK Prestwick, and I gave up after TEN minutes when the load bar had moved from 70 to 73%! I have tried rebuilding the fsx.cfg file, but that didn't work. I tried installing the ES Autogen compatibility files (designed to work with scenery packages from multiple developers simultaneously), but that hasn't worked either. Does anyone have an idea why this might have happened, and what the solution is? I have never experienced this before, and it has only just started yesterday. I have not installed anything for the past week (apart from reinstalling the SIM720 LIBs files in an attempt to solve a lighting issue), so I am baffled. I have since uninstalled all of my SIM720 stuff, but even that has not solved the issue. Help! :( Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
February 26, 201412 yr Author Does anyone have any ideas regarding this? Should I disable all of my addons, and then start enabling them one by one to see if there is a specific package that is causing the problem? February 27, 201412 yr What happens if you push through it and see it through to the end? Is everything OK? I've had a failure at the autogen stage and a CTD but that was because my install of Treescapes for Southern Scotland somehow deleted a key file in the Autogen folder of FSX, can't remember the name ... autogen ... something! February 27, 201412 yr Author I am somewhat puzzled. I disabled all of the Scenery Menu entries from the photoscenery upwards, and enabled them in stages to see which ones were resulting in "Missing Library Alerts". I then kept those ones disabled, and proceeded to enable all of the rest one by one right up the list. I then went back and started to enable the ones that were causing trouble.....one by one.And guess what? I now have everything working again. Is this another case of FSX voodoo magic at work? Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
