Anyone using LCD AOC 27" monitor with Nvidia GTX 580

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anyone using LCD AOC 27" monitor with Nvidia GTX 580 card ?

Here's my problem:

DUSK, DAY, DAWN: textures, clouds are perfect.!

NIGHT: textures, clouds are BAD...

No one seem to come with an answer to this problem...Few people have reported similar issues with their monitors (LCD type)....

I am just tired of this issue.

if someone can suggest or help....This is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Regis

Do you happen to be using the HDMI connection?

If using HDMI with an NVIDIA card, it's best to download and use a utility that opens up the full RGB color range to be passed by the video card to the monitor. This is a known problem with NVIDIA and HDMI and makes a world of difference, especially with deep blacks (otherwise they appear washed out and gray).

If not using HDMI, have you tried altering any of the brightness/contrast or color options on the monitor on-screen-display (OSD)? I know when I received my AOC 27" LCD it was a bit washed out until I implemented the HDMI fix and changed the color options to RGB and Full Enhance.
