  I have made a flight plan using simroutes and there is an option to download a pmdg specific flightplan. What file do I copy and paste that into? FSX pmdg 737-800/900

You could copy and paste to either of two places. It really makes no difference.

 

PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS or PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\NGX. The CDU will load the plan from either folder.

You have to save as a .rte file format, and as Michael says, copy it to or save it to:

 

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS"

 

If it won't copy set write and modify permissions on the FSX folder for the Users Group.
