January 26, 200521 yr Check out the screenshot below...I've noticed this problem ever since intalling the FS9 upgrade 9.1. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/104867.jpgAnybody else having this problem and what can be done about it?
January 27, 200521 yr I don't have this problem, bit I'm interested in an answer too! So let's bump! ;-)Wolfgang
January 27, 200521 yr Hi,I sometimes get this bizarre effect appearing too, not sure what causes it? might be something to do with cloud draw distance in the FS weather options? maybe you should raise this with the master of clouds Chris Willis on the FS Sky world forum or the Active Sky forum, they will be sure to help you out ...CheersPHIL
January 27, 200521 yr Are you using 100% 3d clouds. I have often seen this happen with the "faux" clouds that get used if you are not set to 100% 3d clouds.Check the weather tab under display settings and if your clouds are not set at 100% then you will most definitely see this happen.I intentionally lower my cloud density to medium or low, so that I get 100% 3d clouds because the "faux" clouds just ruin it for me because they don't "move" like the 3d clouds and often have that cut in half look.
