March 14, 201412 yr Make sure the speed knob is in manual mode (MAN) first. You toggle between FMS or MAN by clicking the word "Speed" above the knob.
March 14, 201412 yr Author Hello all: According to the manual, when you place your mouse over the center of the speed knob with a mouse click, you should be able to toggle between IAS & Mach. However I am not able to do so. After passing FL180 during climbing, the airplane automatically switches to Mach and for the rest of flight (descent and landing) I am unable to return it to IAS.
